• Well, I come home last night in more snow, wake up to more snow, still getting more snow and we are going to get a clipper full of snow next monday. Last night there was 3-4″ in my driveway, which was nice and clean when I left. This morning @6am  I had 8″, current levels unknown. After talking with my boss this morning , he lives in the sticks more so than me, we decided to stay home and as of @9am, Chantilly was closed and Frederick never even opened. The guy in Baltimore is a little on the insane side. We are forcasted for 20+ possible inches of snow and we are currently in a blizzard warning, there are reported gusts of over 60mph in some areas. I set up a webcam so you could check to see if we are still around…lol. The link should be at the top. That’s about it for now, I will be adding pics as I am able to.

1100hrs – went out to shovel some more, did that for a bit. After some tweaks to the snowblower, it works much better, no more clogging. The driveway is mostly clear, this end of teh street is clear thanks to a neighbors friend with a plow. Looks good until you actually venture out past our corner. If only the county was as efficient as my neighbors and I. Rte 11 is total ass, about a 4″ snowpack. From what I can hear on the CB, I-81 isnt all that great either. That’s all for now, gonna take a break and rest my back, I think I hurt it some. Pics coming.

0730 hrs – Holy Shit, there’s so much white shit out there, I think I’m in Columbia… Gotta get dressed and go clear out around the heat pump. All the while it continues at a heavy pace.

1100hrs – A ton more pics, feel like I moved a ton of snow, but didnt really do all that much. Still have to get down the side of the house. Cooling off for a bit. It’s gonna be a long day. 12″ in the driveway that I cleared last night. I still have to measure the yard

1200hrs – Round 2 done, got the heat pump cleared off, more pics up. 22-28″ around the yard, so figure some where in the middle. It is still snowing pretty steady and is to continue throughout the day and into tonight. They are talking about more possibly Tuesday and Wednesday…

1520hrs – Round 3 done. Pics up. Gonna go slow and steady from here on out. I’d use the snowblower, but this stuff is too much for the old antique. The mouth is too short and narrow for it, so a diggin I will go. It looks like the storm is buggin out early, we might be lucky…

1630hrs – Round 4 done. Got some driveway back. Sun is starting it’s western descent. Beer:30

1730hrs – Round 5 of shoveling done. The hot tub is now cleared off. That’s the last of it for today. Time for dinner, tasty beverages and a soak in the tub later to rest my muscles for the big dig tomorrow… Pics coming.
